The Pubs came away with a 6:3 win against The International Club of Great Britain after some brilliant performances, including a 3/3 record from the two Ben’s who saved a match point in the first round, two wins from Blake and Jamie W with three calf muscles between them, and a win from Jamie M and James M after blowing a set and a double-break lead in the first match which they refused to be haunted by!
Overall, a superb afternoon of tennis on teh fine grass courts at the AELTC Community Ground. Many thanks for all those who played and I have a feeling the 2023 match will be an even higher standard!
