One of the Association’s longest standing matches and always a pleasure playing on the immaculate grass courts at St George’s Hill – one of England’s most prestigious tennis clubs. Always a close match and this year was no exception as the PSOBLTA team donned its whites and entered the private members club in Surrey.

- lost to SGH first pair (Chris Jenkins & Jeremy Fleming) 6-4, 6-2
- drew with SGH second pair (Simon Terry & Ken MacDonald) 4-6, 4-2 (match abandoned due to rain!)

Our thanks to St George’s Hill for hosting the match and Chris Jenkins for managing the fixture on the day and making the team feel very welcome. The team enjoyed a fine bbq afterwards and will be spurred on for 2018 for more grass court, serve and volleying tennis!
