On Sunday, 28 May the PUBS travelled to Cambridge on a beautiful sunny bank holiday to play on the lovely Fenners grass. The 7 strong team competed in two rounds of doubles matches and one round of singles – one of the only fixtures in the calendar to include this. After some thoroughly enjoyable tennis and several hotly contested matches the PUBS succumbed to a strong Blues side 10-2 on this the inaugural fixture against the Cambridge 1st team. The bar has been set for what promises to be a competitive and challenging match for the PUBS for many years to come.
