The match against the IC of GB is always a highlight of the fixture list and after a number of years of narrow victories for the IC the Pubs team were out to change the result, with recruitment for this fixture starting many months in advance! This year, the Pubs team put in a very solid performance and secured the elusive victory to beat the IC of GB. As it can be seen, there were a some very close matches, with a number of them going to champions tie-breaks. But the Pubs team were pleased to walk away with a 7-2 win with all matches being played in excellent spirits.
Although the weather was not quite as hot as the last few weeks, the rain was avoided and the entire match was played on the finely manicured grass courts at Stoke Park. Our thanks go to Stoke Park for allowing us to use the venue once again for this fixture and thanks to all of those who played.
