After the 6-3 loss in 2017 to Eton College, we were out to avenge that defeat and the Pubs assembled a strong team. However, days before the match started troubles were afoot, as it started out as a three pair match but due to one player having to at the last minute travel overseas for work and another concuss himself whilst surfing on the weekend prior to the match, it was left to a stalwart Pubs four to take on the Eton six. Overall, it was a very enjoyable afternoon of tennis with the sun shining. The Pubs ended up securing a 3-3 draw, which was a good result against some good opposition. Our thanks as always to Glen Pierce for organising the Eton side and always being so hospitable for this match.
