On a beautiful summers day, on fine lawn courts, at a great club, the Pubs managed to scrape the silver medal against fine opposition. Despite the four matches going Cumberland’s way, it was a day of some great tennis being played and it was competitive with two sets going to a tie-break and three with only one break of serve. Maybe next year!
The Association looks forward to the next set of matches to avenge the two defeats over the weekend.
